Die europäischen Death Metal-Schlächter Aborted haben jüngst ihr neustes Extrem-Meisterwerk Strychnine.213 über Century Media rausgehauen und befinden sich momentan auf Tour in USA.

Ihr französischer Gitarrist Seb nahm sich an einem Off-Day zwischen Florida und Texas die Zeit, exklusiv für Vainstream einige heitere Trivia-Fragen zu beantworten. Erfahrt hier, warum er bei Paris Hilton darauf achten würde, ihr nicht in die Muschi sondern in die Augen zu spritzen.

Describe your homecountry in five words!

Seb: I need to precise that I’m french first. So France in five words : Food, Annoying girls, Stupid fashion.

What was your craziest encounter with groupies or fans in general?

There was that stripper chick that was really creepy and seemed to be on drugs, speaking very slowly, and hitting on every musician, while her boyfriend was just standing there… Also our drummer got punched by a drunk fan, who was meaning to be friendly, but seriously hurt him!

What is the best thing about being on the road?

As far as I’m concerned I would say getting away from everyday life, that I find so boring, feeling free, without any attachement with anything or anyone, visiting countries, meeting people, sometimes getting laid …

And what is the worst?

Not being able to wash every day, it smells terrible in the bus after a few days… but I can live with that!

Do you enjoy checking out local food and brews or do you stick to stuff you know?

I try local stuff as much as possible! I love discovering new cultural aspects of countries that I don’t know.

What is the alcoholic beverage of choice – onstage and backstage?

I don’t drink on stage, after a gig I enjoy a cold beer, and if it’s for getting properly drunk, my choice would be vodka, or a good bottle of Jameson.

Does taking drugs help in the creative process?

I don’t do drugs, none of us does.

If you could book the festival of your dreams, who would you invite? And would you headline, open or just be in the crowd?

I would hire Metallica, Guns and Roses (full old line up with Izzy Stradlin), Carcass, Slayer, Iron Maiden, Gojira, Sepultura (full old line up), Deathspell Omega, Disincarnate, Marduk, Dissection, Morbid Angel. And I would open.

What band is the best in the world?

Metallica has a strong sentimental value to me, as they are the ones who made me like metal! Same for bands like Carcass, Slayer and so on…

What is the coolest animal in the world?

I love spiders as much as they terrify me.

And what animal should piss off?

Fucking mosquitos, I would exterminate those pieces of crap.
